Mandie joined BAGSD in 2009 and has always had dogs in her life and GSDs have been the main breed she has lived with and loved. She currently has just the one – Diesel. She joined when Diesel was just a fluffy bundle and has progressed over the years to a high level although the retrieve still eludes her! Mandie started to train as an instructor in 2015 and qualified as a Level 1 instructor in 2016 and now teaches in Puppies, Class 1, 2 and KC Bronze classes as well as being a KC Bronze examiner. She enjoys using her technological skills to manage the website and produces club newsletters. Outside of dogs Mandie enjoys motor biking and walking with her dogs.

Sally Dyson

Sally joined the committee in 2016 and also passed her Instructor Part 1 exam the same year. She has two dogs: Samba a GSD and Kali a young rescue dog who keep her on her toes. Samba is working at a high level in the club and has gained her silver award recently. Sally helps out on all aspects of the running of the club as well as instructing in puppies and Class 1. Revanna Swales

Revana joined the club in 2013 when she moved to the Huddersfield area from North London, and joined the committee in 2018 and became a trainee instracutor in 2018. She has had 8 GSDs including her present dog Libby. All of them have been rescues. Libby was wary and nervous when Revana adopted her in 2016 – she was also 8 years old. But Revana believes strongly in the potential of all GSDs, and Libby has certainly proved that old(er) dogs CAN learn new tricks. Libby and Revana recently passed their Kennel Club Gold award and continue to train regularly at the club. Revana works as an acupuncturist and massage therapist. Outside of the club she is learning Chen Style Tai chi, enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with friends and walking.
